Some of my favorite things

I love finding out about the hobbies of other people, their interests, likes, and favorite places. I thought I would post some of my favorite things.

1. The Lord. I would be a wreck and who knows where without Him.

2. My husband and daughter. They are awesome. It is so much fun to when the three of us hang out together. I always enjoy Saturday mornings when she comes and climbs in bed with us and we hang out. Her hugs and kisses are the best.

3. Photography. Of course, having an absolutely adorable little girl helps. I LOVE to take and edit photographs. I want to get better with using Photoshop.

4. Flea markets/antique stores. There is a thrill in finding something awesome in the corner of a neat little store. I love pieces with history and character. I would rather have beat up, old furniture than something from a furniture chain store anyday.

5. My flower beds. I am a kid on Christmas eve when February rolls around. I anticipate watching my flowers sprout up and I LOVE going to buy new plants.

6. Christmas decorations. My favorite shopping day of the year is the day after Christmas. I run around like crazy snatching up all the great decor at fabulous prices.

7. Deer hunting. It is theraputic. Most people are surprised when they find out I deer hunt, and even more when I tell them I LOVE it. I look forward to getting up before dawn, slipping to the stand, watching the sunrise, and listening to the silence. Of course, hearing a deer break that silence is great.

8. The mountains out west. I love them in every season of the year. I have ridden horses to the top of a mountain for breakfast, ridden a four wheeler above the tree line and watched a herd of elk, ridden a Hummer through the high mountain roads to see all of Colorado. Snow skiing is wonderful. I love the mountains.

9. Exersising/weight lifting. This is love/hate. Most of the time, I know I am due for a work out, but not too enthusiastic about it. Afterwards though, I feel like a million bucks. I also love it because I feel like I can eat a chocolate chip cookie and work it off later.

10. Shopping. I don't know why this isn't higher on the list, I can't believe I didn't think of this one sooner. I love clothes. I love shoes. I love jewelry. I REALLY love a good sale.

I'm really kinda liking this whole blog thing, too. Especially since I figured out how to make it look better. Now I just need to work on the 'adding pictures' thing.
