Hello Blogworld!

As if I didn't need something else to keep me up until 1AM, here I am creating a blog. I have read blogs, alot. I have kept up with blogs of people that I knew years ago and haven't spoken to in a decade. I can tell you their anniversary, their kid's names, what they did last weekend, and where they ate dinner tonight. That kinda freaks me out.

I have no idea what I'm doing. The blogs I keep up with look really good and I want mine to look like that right now. It doesn't. I will probably figure that out at 1AM tomorrow night. If I google "making your blog look pretty" what will I find?

My main motivation behind creating this blog is the opportunity to participate with others at the iheartfaces blog. It is the blog that I check out the most and learn the most from. We are talking about useful learning, not the whole 'keeping up with people I don't talk to' learning. I love photography and the pictures I see on their blog are amazing. I have found the most awesome editing tips there, too.

Whoa, I just hit a button and changed something. As I get a little more comfortable with this blogging thing, I will try to say something interesting now and then. I think this could be pretty cool. I kinda like the idea of having friends I can communicate with while having never met them. A place to find unbiased opinions and advice. An escape from, well, here. Not that I am feeling trapped or anything. I have a great family and love life. It will be nice to feel like I am getting away, though.

Gosh, these things are like online diaries. Creepy.

I'm going to figure out how to make this thing look good.
